CU calls, a variety of annoyance, contact and flight calls, distant Blackbird calls. USE: Europe, except north. TIME: All year.

CU flight calls at start, then normal contact calls by adult, with juveniles giving high-pitched contact calls (these calls are also given as contact calls between pairs), Chaffinches and other birds in distance, Grey Squirrel foraging in leaves - gives alarm calls at end. USE: England & Wales, as spots: W, E & S Europe, W.Russia. TIME: July-September.
